Way too little detail. Wtf happened mentally to your boy? There is so much more you should expound upon.
After #9 you forgot to add 'super good times'. I am sick to my stomach after reading this mess. And this is just sn initial training/qualifying phase! After a guy is "in" comes more of the same variable inventive tortures -excuse me!- training evolutions in addition to the odd actual mission, cavorting-about-town party games. Honest to God: any human with an IQ over 2 who does not crap pants, beg swift death, or suicide-to-escape when faced with the business end of a SEAL deserves whatever comes next. These tortured (there's that word again' Susan! I can't let it go.) professionals have an endless supply of suppressed rage to call upon as motivation and/or elemental energy to fuel their efforts. I am SO glad I engage in no int'l hyjinx that would cause me to give them reason to even sniff the air let alone LOOK. (gulp)
YankeePapa Yep, I was a sinker myself! You can still make it
JohnChristopher1 I remember hearing about 78. Don't remember the details. One of the ways BUD/S is unique is that it actually encourages cheating: "if you're not cheating, you're not trying". But, and this is the key point: there are huge penalties for being caught cheating, in the wrong way. The idea is to win. To do whatever it takes to win.
I though 78 was the only class to graduate no one? Sorta makes the "class" undefeated by students. I like your order of motivation: Likes to win < Hates to Lose < Wants to see everyone else crushed.
