Such a simple thing to do but so many people just dont get it – congratulations on getting that debt monkey off your back
Cut, do without, scrimp, save, save, save. Julie and I got tired of it all about 15 years ago, and went into full debt elimination. It took time, but we have no debt, other than one car payment. Did I mention save? Also always pay debt forward if you can, to cut out interest as much as possible. These are simple things, everyone says this, but actually carrying through is tough . . . however, we still worry about things – kids, jobs, parents.
Good financial health is a major component of being prepared for whatever life throws at you. I’m still working towards that.
I’m in the same boat. Have to keep working at it!
