Thank you for the intriguing read.
I love a southern accent. :)
Motocross and ballet....that's so cool! It must take incredible strength, patience, and self control to make something that hard look that graceful. And I'm of the mind that a southern accent can make just about anything under the sun sound appealing. ;-)
Q..once again my friend you astound me...!!! Time for another road trip so I can pick your brain which is full of interesting Facts and tales of adventure... not even a scarcity of JP-4 will keep me from our appointed travel...best....6
I have to thank one of my fourth grade teachers for peaking my interest in anthropology. I first liked it because of the way she said it. It came out in that southern way with some extra syllables. And then she began to explain what they do and I was fascinated. Being a ballerina is actually very hard work. Practice and rehearsals make long days and the constant physical pressure can lead to injuries that end careers. Most dancers don't make much money. Many rarely make it to principal dancer and if they do the pressure is even greater. Most don't dance past the age of 40. Sort of like football players except they don't make the bank that football players make. It's the beauty and grace of movement that draws me to the idea of a ballerina. One of my favorite videos showing the grace of movement in ballet and motocross... yeah seems odd, but it's a brilliant comparison and I happen to also love watching motocross. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FqinMKCIx68
