Kinda scary! Of course age, experience, and being kicked out to make it on their own will bring on a reality check for them, then it's sink or swim. Let's hope they can tread water!
These are graduating seniors.... How are they doing to handle the real world? A real job? My Mom told me she read a story about some school that was saying it was discrimination to tell people what time to come to work.... Really? Let's see how that goes over in the real world... Honestly, there is a generation of kids that scare the crap out of me. They don't know how to handle conflict, hold a job, handle an appliance breaking down, trip to the grocery store when the store is out of a product.... the list is endless. How will they handle life in general? As far as the kids we send to NK, I have a feeling that Lil Kim might strap them to one of his missiles because they are more annoying and whiny than he is.....
I know, what's with these colleges today not wanting to have a conservative speaker? Are they afraid the truth will set their ears on fire, or make their head explode? You are so right, a few days in North Korea would open their minds very quickly (AND make their heads explode! Ha!) Thanks, Joni
Pat - Did you hear about the students at Notre Dame that are afraid to have VP Pence come speak to their graduating class? Perhaps if they want something to be afraid of, we could send them on summer assignment to NK to do an internship under Lil Kim. Many of them may not even know anything about living conditions in NK or what Lil Kim does to those he doesn't like... They would probably think we were talking about the female rap artist Little Kim......
When a regime under an unstable leader constantly threatens our country and our allies, and is known to be actively testing missiles and developing nuclear weapons, it would be irresponsible to just do nothing and hope they aren't serious. Pence had our strike in Syria, and the Mother in Afghanistan, to back up his statement to North Korea that they should not test our strength and resolve. The Obama-era policy of "strategic patience" has done nothing to slow Kim's missile development and testing, it's time for that policy to end.
