In a statement that sounds a heck of a lot like a prime example of “passing the buck,” Secretary of State John Kerry told a group in Bangladesh Monday that the media needs to tone it down when it comes to covering terrorism.

But if you decide one day you’re going to be a terrorist and you’re willing to kill yourself, you can go out and kill some people. You can make some noise. Perhaps the media would do us all a service if they didn’t cover it quite as much. People wouldn’t know what’s going on.”

Islam at it's core should be covered. While technically yes we are at a very low risk of dying at the hands of ISIS, this obfuscation by the media is dangerous. I am sorry but I cannot give Kerry the befit of the doubt. Obama has repeatedly stated Islam is the religion of peace. It just is not. The westernized Muslims are not the danger true, but the lying Imam's are. I just do not like Obama lying to the public this is the religion of peace when you have adherents to true Islam throwing gays of roofs, slaughtering Christians and systematically disrespecting women. I see videos of what is happening in Europe. I think we should be concerned about too much diversity. So I guess what I am saying our government think we as Americans cannot handle the truth about this religion. We can, the brave reformers should be given avenue above terrorists, but we should also know the true face that is Islam.

So Kerry has a problem with terrorism - the media covers it too much! And he actually said they shouldn't cover it so much and "people wouldn't know what's going on." So this is the problem? People know too much about what's going on? I think the problem is more that progressives like Kerry in this administration want to do apology tours and not talk about Radical Islamic Terrorism or worry about protecting Americans. I doubt if daesh is going to lay down their arms because their terror attacks don't make the paper. I'm sure Kerry would also like the media to stop covering Hillary's scandals too so people wouldn't know what's going on! Unbelievable. Thanks Zach, good article.
