Watch: Nuke truck rear-ended by Department of Energy security

So…in this video we see an extra-high profile convoy, with armed military-esque Department of Energy (DOE) and Federal Law Enforcement escort.  We see (and hear) the cameraman on the side of the road as the Fed pick-up rolls over to the side near him.  We see the armored vehicles and semi-truck roll into view.

Then we see the entire convoy start to accordion like a formation of cherry Privates as one of the armored rigs plows straight into the back of the primary (the big rig; with the nuke stuff).  The cameraman narrates what we are all thinking, of course.  And once rig-to-rig contact is made, the accordion moves quickly off down the road.

I’ve been tasked more than once with reconnaissance and surveillance of “nuke stuff” passing through my Area of Responsibility.  As such, I have (more or less) been that guy on the side of the road filming.  I have never seen either of two things:

1.  Such an overly obvious clusterfuck of vehicles moving sensitive material; they’ve been almost exclusively very not-so-fucking-obvious
2.  Any of the vehicles ram the fuck into another one (least of all, the primary)

I would have loved to have been a part of that hot mess.  Someone’s asshole got torn off.  I’m obviously not a DOE security escort, but this almost seems like a training scenario to me it’s so fucky.  I mean, there are enough indicators for a guy like me to find and follow, but this shit is almost literally a train wreck.
