As usual, I appreciate the solid reporting on this guy. Saw him on a Joe Rogan Youtube clip today, and seemed kinda fishy he kept talking about the “SEAL community”... but he never was one. OK, he can do BUD/S. Not the point of being a SEAL. Then I looked him up on Twitter. Yep, he’s an attention douchebag - not who I’d want representing the US in the most intense combat situations around the world.
I'm pretty impresessed of anyone who made it through 99% of that coarse. I also agree that is a selection Cousy and anyone could be dropped for any reason not making standards. About his lawsuit, its toaltaly unrelated to his Quest to be a Seal, it's a contract in good faith to play a Seal. And he Proubly deserves his money back and costs. I know this is an old thread, but it's new to me,I just joined this blog not long ago. All I hope is as a man,he learns and acts like the professional intructers we're trying to instill in him .
Bilzerian is a douchebag.
I just listened to the replay of Dan's interview on Howard Stern. He clearly stated that his desire to make it through SEAL training was to be able to tell people he was a SEAL. I gotta hand it to the instructors for catching this one before he went any further. In a time of PR issues and the quiet professional standard not being followed this guy could have raised the bar for OPSEC problems.
JHR big_hatdance Can anyone say Erik Prince? Shuts that theory down...in a big way!!!
