One note about jacks and long travel suspension , you can jack the axle , not the frame. G wagons and 6x6’s are sexy. A Bowler EXR , 385 liter fuel tank, 500 plus horses , 4 wd Dakar beast...the sexiest. But for keep on goin’ , and goin ...... A Toyota Hi-lux. It’s what keeps the third word rolling ,.....and rolling,....and rolling.
Then you need a Bowler EXR.

What?? Ours started eating batteries too. Ours was from a short in the rear hatch.
Loved my Honda Civic. And it did do excellent in snow. I have driven for 40 + years and never got stuck on the roads until I started driving a Hybrid.
