Tessa, practicing snow and ice driving on a deserted parking lot is actually a lot of fun. Especially if you can speed up and then slam the breaks and skid around.
Track driving has definitely helped me on the daily as a commuter. I see different lines/ different avenues to utilize than I normally did before. I also feel like my reaction times are much better because I'm not driving balls to the wall on an average daily commute like I would on the track. That being said I haven't done anything nearly on the level that you've just shown us but would certainly love to! Great article!
Alex-I've been fortunate to take a couple classes in the past professionally. But a real kick was my wife bought me a trip to Frank Hawley's Drag Racing School in Gainesville to drive a rear engine dragster as a birthday present. That was a blast.
awesome article!
Parking lots are great for practicing snow and ice driving. Thanks for your fun post, Joni.
