MR... fortunately "you are not saying the author is lying"... perhaps prior to commenting on a SOFREP writer with the Cred of one Mr. Geo Hand, you Need to do a bit of research my friend...without going into too much depth, Geo knows of which he speaks, as one who has been there and done that, he is not only relating his thoughts but also his actions as a member of Delta...best....6
It's so difficult to believe the anecdote on the 707 CT-SMB (The South Korean equivalent of Delta). I am not saying that the author is lying, but I do think that the team that was hosted in the U.S. was one of the most utterly incompetent ones among the Batt. But still, it is absolutely embarrassing. I am personally a friend with several 707 operators and having served with them, my impression was that they were all great quiet professionals who hold themselves to the highest of standards and dignity (I wouldn't dream of them shoplifting...). I hope the readers would not be quick to judge the entire South Korean Special Operations Community by this story alone.
