YankeePapa I can't believe that anybody would actually believe that at worst it was only a zealous Russian nationalist who murdered Nemtsov independently of the Putin regime. For one thing it would have been really risky for a "private" citizen to commit a murder, much less a murder of a high-profile opposition politician, right in front of the Kremlin with a bunch of CCTV cameras in the area. And second, most Russians with privately owned guns are probably either connected to the security services or to organized crime, and those two entities are closely intertwined with each other.
