SOFREP reader Don Buckman first let us know about this video. Thanks Don.
In case you wondered what it looks like, here’s an up close and personal look at religious extremism and the very real consequences. The amount of explosives in the truck would have been massive to create that big of an explosion.
Also on display are Taliban TTP’s, it’s worth mentioning because it lets you see that these guys are well trained and highly motivated.

@Love_n_Respect Interesting. The numbers must have been updated at a later date. When it happened they weren't reporting any U.S. KIA, only Afghan. They did report a lot of wounded, however. The truck got right up to the wall. Many of these FOBs and COPs are surrounded by agricultural plots and villages. It isn't out of the ordinary, per se, to have vehicles and people close to the wall. Its all up to those working BDOC to assess and respond appropriately. Its all about social engineering to some degree for the bad guys. If they can build a pattern, lull their target into complacency, then they have created their own avenue of approach. It isn't a new tactic. We have used it successfully in the past ourselves.
@LauraWalkerKC @th3j35t3r @poidog22 "Hello, mullah, hello, father...here I am at Camp Jihad-a, Doing some tactics, and some training....couldn't work on bomb fuses 'cause it's raining" (sung to tune of Camp Granada)
@OPR @notdrakebell @marbito11 As do I, I think that they were definitely stolen or pilfered. Hell, you can buy the pattern from Amazon... Go figure.
@DeltaBravo193 Funny but the guy narrating sounded a lot like the clowns that I get stuck talking to when I call Customer Service.
