I enjoyed the show as well, but my only major issue with Longmire is that almost every Veteran on that show was either suffering from PTSD or committing crimes (because of PTSD). I wasn't offended or anything, but it became a bit of a cliche, almost like how every Native Reservation can only get rich with Casinos (although it does appear that way here in Arizona).
Taylor Sheridan has quickly hit my radar several times in recent years. Most know Sicario, but relatively few are aware of Wind River, much less Hell or High Water. I'm very eager to see his next effort, Yellowstone, which he has written and directed. Most would recognize him as the young cop from Sons of Anarchy.
They are their own worst enemy.
I was surprised about the amount of missing native Americans that are unaccountable for however I believe this is one of the best movies I've seen all year
Hah. I've been in a similar sort of situation a few times with our splendid local constabulary over here. I can tell you that it's par for the course. The old Glover quote "I don't want to shoot you, and you don't want to be dead" rings especially true.
