Navy pilot that drew penis in the sky set to become pilot instructor

According to a report originally published in the San Diego Tribune, a punishment has been handed down to the two pilots involved in drawing a massive penis in the sky above Washington state on Nov. 15th.

The incident, which became an over-night viral sensation, saw the pilot, as well as a back seat aviator, use contrails produced by their two-seater EA-18G Growler to sketch a giant phallus against the cloudless blue backdrop of Wednesday morning sky.

The pilot and co-pilot, who were not identified by the Navy, have been allowed to maintain their flight status thanks to the recommendation of a number of senior Navy leaders, but have been placed on a six-month probationary period, in which any subsequent transgression will cost them their wings.

    Vice Adm. Shoemaker noted that their sentencing was lenient due only to the fact that their flight pattern allowed for appropriate spacing, or girth, but that he continued to harbor serious doubts about their ability as aviators because of their apparent lack of run-in distance on the dog leg of their pattern. Quote: "I doubt they could trap safely with such a small hook." on the record, the unnamed aviator s append to attention and responded: "Sir, the Vice Admiral's daughter has evaluated my flight tactics and equipment on numerous occasions and I have never failed to trap thanks to her noted expertise."

    Well, dealing with this is easy. Dealing with the other may require an actual look at leadership, which would be both painful, and take effort. Meh.
