Last movie I saw in the theaters was Avatar. I’m done supporting that industry.
Good to know Michelle!
Uh oh. What about a quarter gallon of popcorn and 8oz soda at a Cinemark? Is there a penance assigned for thoughtlessly unpatriotic purchases? Or am I doomed to the depths of communist misery for my sins? Can I plead ignorance, or perhaps emphasize the minuscule impact of such a tiny (but almost horrifically expensive) purchase?
Went to the movie theater last night to see Despicable Me 3, and I’m happy to report that any propaganda was covertly buried beneath throwback humor of the 1980s that produced much needed laughter on my part…and not a single political tweet preceded the event. Just the way I like it. (I hadn’t been to a movie theater in ages, so I figured I should check it out just to make sure I’m still in America and can disregard the opinions of my government as often as I please. All is well.)
