Why recycle existing articles with the current date? Make no mistake, I enjoy this website very much, but I am seeing more and more so called new articles that are nothing more than links to another website’s articles.
Too bad we didn’t know ubl was down the road a bit. (maybe it was a bit early too, 2006?) but Would have been a nice little field trip for those Rangers to take ubl out a few years earlier..just sayin..
Likely the 75th was happy to get the job thru JSOC. Nice to be needed, whatever the reason.
Not really the Rangers’ fault, but fuck me if this isn’t a history lesson the Regiment wished it hadn’t learned. I don’t know anything about the op other than what is in this article, but I can suspect that the real reason Delta and DEVGRU were sidestepped for Rangers had more to do with the Regiment’s insatiable hunger for an expanded relevancy in JSOC combined with the other two groups desire to not train terrorist shitheads again…
