My grandfather also served in WW2 / Korea / Vietnam. Wow, Mr. Henry would have had to be one of the youngest soldiers to serve in WW2. He would have had to lie about his age. I have heard many youngsters did just that. Mr. Henry would have been 14 when Pearl Harbor was bombed and prolly around 16 when he went to boot camp. Our grandparents were the greatest generation ever.
I could never imagine a 14 year old today to do anything more than have their face in their smartphone, hell, in today’s world most adults would refuse to fight for their country
