    Must be a lot of Reagan fans here. The comment section is unusually quiet. Excellent information nonetheless…..even if it puts political demigods in a bad light. I wish more light would be shed on events like this.

    Thanks, Iassen, for doing the research to inform us of this little known “almost invasion”! I had no clue this almost happened! It would be interesting to know how President Reagan would have explained the reason why we would have done this if we went ahead with the original plans.
