Didn’t have a drill sergeant but went through something similar. Had to do it twice because I failed the first time and barely survived the second. Wish I had prepared more.
Most hellish experience of my life. Always worried you’ll be the next guy they let go. But it completely changed me as a human being, in a good way. Vomit, blisters, micro-fractures… ect… I’d still do it again.
Good for them – can anyone ever forget their drill Sgt? Thinking back all those years ago I marvel at the insight and wisdom Sgt Fuentes.
