Shallow squats???? You just crossed a line man.
Spot on Alex. The work-outs have to evolve with our aging and crumbling bodies. A lifetime of contact sports with a light dusting of infantry service has somehow slowed me down in my mid 30's, imagine that. Definitely have to swallow some pride when trying to work out with previous/nagging injuries. Due to a stubborn shoulder, I recently and reluctantly started using the smith machine on heavy bench days so I don't drop 275 on my face...it's definitely a few pounds easier to push on the rail, but I'm good with the shoulder injury, not looking to add a pec or face injury too.
